Let there be green

I’ve discovered I read increasingly more about doing the green thing, eco friendliness and such. (In addition to actually doing the green thing sometimes). I reckoned it was about time for this blog to reflect this and so I will start linking to interesting green stuff from now on. Today’s pick – Sähköautot Nyt is a movement that wants to sign up 500 people that want to save money on fuel but don’t want to pay more for the car. Once they’ve got the people they’ll provide DYI-like kits to repair shops to actually build the cars. Or rather, modify existing Toyota Corollas. All this with an open source welcome-to-participate mentality. I hope it works out for them and that Estonia is among the first to adapt the concept. First spotted here.
