IMDB, you’re fired

The IMDB rating of Definitely, Maybe is the straw the broke the camel’s back. 7,5 for a movie that is more predictable than the chain of events at a bachelor’s party? Where are the good old days when only slightly geeky people cared to rate movies and ratings was actually useful. Now soccer moms have taken over and IMDB is a shadow of box office results. Thanks, I’d rather trust a politician than this.
I must have missed the train of the next big movie ratings thing. Please help, someone.

I must say I’m not too impressed with Rottentomatoes, the ratings are not all that different and it looks and feels a mess. I guess what I’m looking for is something where you create a ratings profile so recommendations are a bit more personal. Like MovieLens or this one. But they are a pain to use for now.

IMDB is useful, but backwards. For example Uwe Boll’s films. Rated usually below 3.
Therefore. The lower the rate, the better the chances that you may actually have a laugh or two.
